   摘要：随着包括新发传染病在内的各种类型传染性疾病对全球人类健康威胁不断增大，症状监测在包括传染病控制和防范生物恐怖袭击在内的公共卫生领域得到广泛应用。本文概述了目前常用的监测系统其数据源及相关指标。由于监测技术手段的发展和统计处理方法进步，症状监测必将在公共卫生事件预警中发挥更重要作用。

    Abstract:   With the increasingthreats of the various kinds of infectious diseases including theemerging infectious disease (EID), symptom surveillance has beenwidely implemented in infectious disease control and precaution forbio-terrorist attack. We briefly describe the data source andindicators for symptom surveillance. With the development ofmonitoring technology and statistics methods, the symptomsurveillance will play a more important role in precaution forpublic health events than ever before.
